Bicycle Culture Center

Bicycles, first produced some 190 years ago, have developed to become the most basic form of conveyance of everyday life. On display in Bicycle Plaza at the Bicycle Culture Center are bicycles that give a visual picture of the history of the bicycle. 1793 Celerifere
Celerifere
A wooden hobbyhorse with a front and back wheel that was used for play by the French aristocracy. Supposedly a person would sit on the hobbyhorse and move back and forth, but this is also said to be just a made-up story.
