Bicycle Culture Center / Moulton Standard

Bicycles, first produced some 190 years ago, have developed to become the most basic form of conveyance of everyday life. On display in Bicycle Plaza at the Bicycle Culture Center are bicycles that give a visual picture of the history of the bicycle. Moulton Standard
This bicycle was designed and produced in 1962 by Dr. Alex Moulton, an English industrial engineer. The unconventional design employed small front and back wheels. The bicycle still has many fans today. Mini bikes produced in Japan have been greatly influenced by the Moulton bicycle.
