Japanese abacus 1
Speaking of calculating tools, the Japanese abacus was used in Japan for a long time. The abacus has originated from China. A replica of a grooved abacus from the Roman era is on display in the museum, by which calculation is made by sliding barbell-shaped beads along grooves of a bronze plate.
