Aiming for the Ultimate Office Chair

Entering the 2000s, a new type of chair that focused on sitting comfort with ample back support emerged.
The Ercio debuted in 2000 pursued the ultimate in sitting comfort. A plastic net is employed for back support, and a frame structure supported by steel pipe is adopted. Previously, sitting comfort was retained by laying urethane over a rigid plastic sheet, but the structure has now changed so that the plastic does not remain a rigid sheet, but deforms to conform with the seated person, thereby improving sitting comfort.
