Molding and Plastics

Molding and Plastics

The cushion components of the back and seat in the CX Chair debuted in 1995 were sequentially one-piece molded and the design was such that it could only be molded using plastics. Foamed polypropylene based on gas injection is utilized in order to confer thickness to the armrest components.
In the future, there is potential to realize entirely different chairs in terms of design and shape utilizing plastic one-piece molding.
