The Pro Trek, equipped with triple sensors that could rapidly detect direction, pressure/temperature, and altitude, was a model that was popular among people who enjoyed mountain climbing and trekking. Development of a wristwatch with a blood pressure monitor was finally completed after more then two years of exchanges with the Ministry of Health and Welfare related to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act. Other models developed incorporated a music player, a digital camera, and a communication function between the watch and a computer. Casio now offers a GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor model equipped with superior technology that can receive time information from both GPS satellite radio waves and standard radio waves.
