Age of filmless digital camera

The photosensitive element that corresponded to film was replaced by a digital image sensor, like a CMOS and a CCD, and an electronic equipment suitable for the sensor was incorporated into the camera.
The basic structure of the camera equipped with a lens and shutter did not change very much, but it was improved to suit digital cameras. Of course, the film winding mechanism was disused.
