The JCII Camera Museum was founded in 1989 to present the historical development of the camera and photography. The exhibits give a systematic picture of the development of Japanese cameras. Also on display are classic, masterpiece, and curio cameras from around the world that are of historical importance. Postwar reconstruction period
The production of spring camera increased suddenly, and various types of twin-lens reflex cameras were put on the market one after another.
The plastic popular camera, Konilette I [Konishiroku] also made its debut.
The first 35 mm single-lens reflex camera in Japan, Asahiflex (Asahi Optical), was born at this time.
