Bandai Museum

The Advanced Technology Exhibition Hall @ TEPIA was established by Association for Technological Excellence Promoting Innovative Advances (TEPIA) in 1989. It is a venue in which visitors can learn about a variety of advanced technologies that are the pride of Japan. They can also learn about the role plastics play in these technologies. 1900~1950

During this period, Japan imported many foreign-made toys manufactured primarily of materials such as tin and rubber. However, these resources were recovered for production purposes during World War II, and wooden toys replaced metal toys to become the mainstream. In post-war Japan, toy army jeeps made of tin appeared.
