The Advanced Technology Exhibition Hall @ TEPIA was established by Association for Technological Excellence Promoting Innovative Advances (TEPIA) in 1989. It is a venue in which visitors can learn about a variety of advanced technologies that are the pride of Japan. They can also learn about the role plastics play in these technologies. An electric commuter whose power source is lithium ion batteries can be charged with household power source and because it can run for 43 km on a single charge, great expectations are held for it as an urban commuter. In recent times unit shipments have been surpassing those of motor scooters.
