Konosuke Matsushita Museum / Konosuke Matsushita's business perspective 2

The exterior of the museum building emulates the exterior of the Panasonic headquarters building constructed in 1933. The museum was opened in 1968 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works (now Panasonic). The Konosuke Matsushita Museum traces the historical development of Japan's household appliances industry. Konosuke Matsushita was strongly aware of the importance of customer voice when developing products, and he constantly paid attention to what customers were desiring through initiatives such as offering prizes. This is compiled in a booklet called "What are Consumers of Electricity Desiring?" It can be said to be an early form of marketing. In addition, "One Story a Day" was a collection that instructed employees. In this way, from those days, communication between people was regarded as important, and this spirit continues as a tradition to this day.
