The shoulder phone model 100 was developed to meet the demands for a telephone that could be used even when the user was away from the car. It was released in 1985 when the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation was privatized and started operation as NTT. The portable phone put on the shoulder weighed about 3 kg. |
