Grand Seiko
The Grand Seiko became a major topic of conversation as a marvelous product that combined the highest technology and technical skill of the day. From around this time, the watch was not only considered a counter for measuring time; it also came to be possessed with an accessory feel.
The emphasis came to be placed on thin profile, compactness, and design, and it was also a period in which major advances were made in the downsizing of movements that carried out mechanical functions.
