Today, nearly all of the mahobin manufactured work the same as the one-push Air Pot®. Early mahobin were manufactured with stainless steel pipes, which caused problems such as scratching on the surface of the inner glass bottle. To remedy the problems, heat-resistant polypropylene came to be used instead.
