• Music box structure

    Cylinder music box
Melodies are recorded on a cylinder using embedded pins. The cylinders turn by spring force. The melody is played when the pins flick the comb teeth of the vibration plate.

    Disk music box
With this type, the drum of a cylinder music box is disk-shaped. Holes and protrusions of the disk hook and rotate the star wheel fitted to the front edge of comb teeth, and the teeth struck by the star wheel produce sound.
