Employee Volunteers Participated in the "Mt. Fuji Garbage Reduction Project"

The Mt. Fuji Garbage Reduction Project, organized by Shizuoka Prefecture, was held on June 27, 2009. This ongoing activity, undertaken from the wish to have people say "Mt. Fuji is the most beautiful mountain in Japan, whether you see it from far away or up close," consists of cleanup activities by roads and in parks of the Mt. Fuji area from the fifth station and below.

Polyplastics supports the aim of the project and has participated in it from the second cleanup. This year, the 9 volunteers were lucky to have beautiful weather; they picked up garbage-mostly plastic bottles and empty cans.
