Company Employee Volunteers Participated in Mt. Fuji 3776 Natural Forest
Restoration Project

Shizuoka Prefecture operates the Mt. Fuji 3776 Natural Forest Restoration Project to create abundant forested areas on Mt. Fuji. Activities progress through the stages of collecting seeds, tree-planting and weeding forest undergrowth in the effort to promote the spread of healthy natural forests and forest regeneration.
On April 26, 2008 (Saturday), about 120 people, including 11 of Polyplastics' employees and their family members, participated in planting 3,000 broad-leaved trees at the foot of Mt. Fuji
Also, on August 23, 2008 (Saturday), about 50 people, including 15 employee volunteers from Polyplastics, participated in weeding undergrowth in the national forest on Mt. Fuji. The activity is held on a regular basis.
